This concert will take us on a fascinating journey from the mystery of creation to sparkling, youthful energy. Nils Henrik Asheim’s Genesis (String Quartet) sets an exciting and atmospheric tone, before we are thrown into something different with Darius Milhaud’s La Création du monde. This is classical music that flirts playfully with jazz and blues. Finally, we will hear Felix Mendelssohn’s String Octet, a masterpiece he wrote at the age of 16. Expect infectious energy, a high tempo and melodies that will simply put you in a good mood!
