There will be a pre-concert talk with Are von der Lippe at Hotel Atlantic one hour before the concert “Finale – Das Judenthum in der Musik”, which starts in Sandefjord Church at 18:00. He will talk about the music being performed and place it in a historical and cultural context. Are is an invaluable part of Fjord Classics and has an exceptionally broad knowledge and experience in music. In this context it is tempting to quote Lars Anders Tomter: “What Are doesn’t know about music has not yet been written!”
The talks are open to everyone and admission is free.
