The Norwegian-American violist Christopher Rossebø, age 23, is currently pursuing his studies at the Norwegian academy of music, ending with a 4 year bachelor In spring of 2022. From the fall of 2022 he will continue studying for a master In performing viola at the Norwegian academy Of music.
As an active chamber musician within the cultural life of Norway, Christopher has performed in numerous festivals, including Oslo chamber music-festival, Ultima-festival, Fjord Classics etc. Recent highlights include performing the Mendelssohn octet together with renowned musicians such as Elbjørg Hemsing, Camilla Kjøll, Øyvind Bjorå and Audun Sandvik. With his ensemble “The Borealis Quartet”, he has already gained substantial experience from many performances. The quartet was honourably chosen to play in the Beethoven Festival at Sentralen, Oslo.
