Joshua Kail

Violist Joshua Kail, a New York City native, recently graduated from The Juilliard School in 2021, where he studied under the tutelage of Hsin-Yun Huang and Heidi Castleman. Other significant instructors include Kirsten Docter, Carol Rodland, Molly Carr and Yi-fang Huang. As a chamber musician, he has performed alongside musicians such as Itzhak Perlman, Astrid Schween, Paul Neubauer, and The Harlem Quartet, among others. He has attended courses such as The Perlman Music Program and Taos School of Music, and is currently recipient of an internship with the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra. He is pursuing a masters degree at Norges Mussikhøgskole with Lars Anders Tomter.
