Victoria Lewis is a 25-year-old Norwegian-British violinist from Asker. Since 1 January 2026 she has held the position of Co-Principal Concertmaster at the Royal Swedish Opera in Stockholm, and she is in demand as a guest concertmaster with several Scandinavian orchestras. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the Barratt Due Institute of Music and a master’s degree from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. From 2021 to 2023 she held an apprenticeship position with the Norwegian Chamber Orchestra, and later took part in the String Experience Scheme with the London Symphony Orchestra. Victoria is an active freelance musician in both chamber music and orchestral contexts, and has performed with musicians such as Ivry Gitlis, Liza Ferschtman and Stefan Dohr. She has received several of Norway’s most important awards for young musicians, including from the Ingar Dobloug Foundation and the Eilif and Datter Besse Gunstrøms memorial fund, which is awarded annually by CREO.
