«Midsommar midt på vinteren» – lanseringskonsert for 2025-festivalen
15. februar kl. 18 lanserer vi programmet too sommerens festival med en konsert på Sentralen i Oslo. Vi fremfører noe av musikken som skal spilles under festivalen and vil fortelle om årets tema «Tre kronor» der svensk musikk og musikere vil stå i fokus.
Orkesteret under festivalen vil være et samarbeid mellom Fjord Festival Strings og Telemark Kammerorkester, noe vi gleder oss veldig til. Orkesteret og flere solister vil delta på konserten.

Bartok´s Viola Concerto from 2021
Here is the video recording of Bartok's viola concerto, in a new chamber orchestra version by Lars Anders Tomter. The performance was a world premiere of Tomter´s version, in which he plays the solo part. Fjord Festival Strings was conducted by Øyvind Bjorå. Tomter´s new version has since received much attention internationally, and is now performed regularly around the world.
