The Cordi String Quartet was recently established at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama. The quartet´s members, Victoria Lewis (violin), Yente Lottman (violin), Ami-Louise Johnsson (viola) and Kosta Popović , are all students are Guildhall.
The quartet has to date played for musicians such as Simon Rowland Jones and Wolfgang Redik. They receive regular coaching from Krysia Osostowicz, 1st violinist of the established Brodsky Quartet.
The name Cordi comes from Latin and means “heart”.
