Eloy is a 21 year old trumpet player from Valencia in Spain. He grew up in a family with a long musical tradition and this inspired his interest for music. He began lessons at the age of 7, and was part of several orchestras, and groups in Spain. He started his education with Jose Real and continued with Jose Alcaide. His higher education started at Conservatorio Joaquin Rodrigo de Valencia with Ricardo Ortega. He then moved to Hamburg to continue his bachelors degree at Hochschule für Musik und Teater Hamburg, with the highly esteemed Professor Matthias Höfs.
Eloy has played to many famous trumpet players, such as Raul Junquera, Luis González and Christian Ibañez. Eloy has won several national and international prizes, most recently 2° prize at the Elise Meyer competition in Hamburg. He's also recipient of the highly prestigious Mozart Geselleschaft Dortmund, which gives him a lot of soloist-opportunities.
Eloy is an active orchestral musician, and has been part of Verbier festival junior orchestra 2019 & 2021, and Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester 2023 & 2024 as principal trumpet. Eloy has a lot of professional experience, and was in the orchestral academy of Symphoniker Hamburg and SWR Symphonieorchester. He also played as principal trumpet at Philharmonisches Orchester Hagen with a temporary contract and is currently in the Karajan Akademie der Berliner Philharmoniker.
