Lene Skomedal was born in Skien, but grew up in Bamble, and has since 2003 been living in Gothenburg, Sweden. She works mainly as a musician and has played french horn professionally since 2005.

Lene is also the creator of "Music-Yoga Concerts". The concept was first performed in 2018 at the Gothenburg Concert House. Since then, she has grown an international reputation and holds yoga concerts regularly to full houses of participating yoga enthusiasts.

MUSIC: Lene has worked with numerous orchestras and ensembles in many countries, including co-principal horn at Norrlandsoperan, solo horn in Copenhagen Philharmonic (contract) and Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra. Her career also includes solo work and chamber music. She has also given masterclasses in a large number of projects, festivals and events, such as Citguad (Spain), Encuentro Internacional de Cornos (Chile), and Corno Brass Music Festival (Poland).

She has taught at academies including Colburn School of Music (Los Angeles, US), Guildhall School of Music and Drama (London, UK) and Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien (Hannover, Germany).
