Beethoven's Greatest Hit
Beginner's Guide – The first half of this concert is dominated by the deepest of the string instruments, the double bass. Opening with a fantastic solo piece by arguably Norway´s greatest modern composer, then a duet for bass and violin by our festival composer. Next a wonderful clarinet piece by the french master Debussy, before we crown the concert with Beethoven septet - the piece of his that was played more than any other during his lifetime. Possibly as charming as music can get. Guaranteed to make you smile!
