Opening Concert - Light Beyond the Abyss
Beginner's Guide - We open this year´s festival with a hypnotic modern classic for a lonesome clarinet, which leads us into light. Britten´s Les Illuminations is triumphant and celebratory, here performed by the Norwegian soprano Ann-Helen Moen and our own festival orchestra made up of aspiring young talents. The concert ends with one of the most wonderful pieces ever written for violin and piano.
